"Our dream was to create a specialty food store that we would like to shop at."

For a decade, Bianca has been arriving at her family beach house in Mount Martha on a Friday night and wanting a quick and easy dinner option that wasn’t fish'n'chips. So when a shop emptied opposite the beach on Lochiel Avenue, she snapped it up with her sister, Tanya, and created Cibo Deli Mt Martha – an upmarket Italian-style deli and grocer which stock a wonderful collection of imported Italian and local foods. "It is our mission to source and provide our customers with the most delicious epicurean treats for cooking, eating and entertaining." 

There are pizza bases from Naples, Italy, plus plenty of toppings. Pick up Italian ice-cream and cannoli for dessert, or make a smoothie bowl with ingredients from the well-stocked gluten-free and vegan section

Inside the green-and-white shop, light-wood shelves are lined with a selection of meals and small goods from Peter Bouchier, Uncle's Smallgoods, City Larder, soups and pasta sauces from Marisa's Kitchen and Essence Food for the Soul. We also make Lasagna and Cannelloni, fresh Tiramisu and stock Wonder Pies and a variety of artisan bakers including Red Hill Bakery Bread, Miller's and Tuerong Farm bread. A selection of Italian Wine, Beer, Spirits and Liquor available.
